PM Encourages Graduates to Build Experience Before Seeking Senior Roles

(Siem Reap): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet urged young graduates not to wait for senior positions before demonstrating their abilities, calling such a mindset a major mistake. Speaking at a graduation ceremony in Siem Reap on Tuesday (Jul. 21), the premier encouraged graduates to excel in every task, no matter how small, stressing that trust and greater responsibilities are earned through results, not academic qualifications alone. Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet underlined that effective work requires flexibility, creativity, and the ability to address challenges as they arise. He encouraged graduates to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in school to their work and, when they encounter obstacles, to learn and develop additional skills to overcome them and demonstrate tangible achievements. Drawing from personal experience, Samdech Thipadei said he was willing to do even basic tasks early in his career. He added that those who work hard, stay adaptable, and consistently deliver results build the foundation for future leadership opportunities. On the occasion, the prime minister continued that building achievements and gaining experience from the outset would serve as a strong foundation for future growth and advancement toward greater responsibilities and more senior positions.=FRESH NEWS
