Robbie Williams announces his only Irish show for 2027

ROBBIE Williams has confirmed he will play a single Irish date in 2027, bringing his live show ‘RW27’ to Thomond Park Stadium on Tuesday July 6, subject to licence. The announcement follows the huge success of the star’s sold-out headline show at Croke Park in Dublin last summer, and the Limerick date will be his only Irish appearance in 2027. Williams will also headline Lytham Festival in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, on Saturday July 3, 2027. Past headliners at the festival include Stevie Wonder, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Lewis Capaldi and Diana Ross, while Pet Shop Boys and Alanis Morissette topped the bill at this year’s edition earlier this month. Tickets for the Limerick show will cost from €91.25 to €252 including booking fee, subject to a 12.5% service charge per ticket, up to a maximum of €10.50. General sale begins at 10am on Friday July 24. Williams is currently touring Europe as part of his ‘BRITPOP 2026 Tour’. Once the European leg concludes, the tour will move to Central and South America, with shows in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Peru, before continuing to Australia and New Zealand later in the year. The stadium tour began in summer 2025, with the singer performing to more than 250,000 people in the UK alone and 1.2 million people worldwide. In January 2026, Williams released his latest album, ‘BRITPOP’, to widespread critical acclaim. The record gave him his 16th UK Number 1 album, setting an all-time record for the most chart-topping albums by any artist. Williams remains one of the most successful music artists in the world, with 90 million album sales globally and six of the top 100 best-selling albums in British chart history. He has received a record 18 BRIT Awards, eight German ECHO Awards, three MTV European Music Awards and two GRAMMY nominations over his career. At The Ivors 2025, he received the PRS for Music Icon Award — his fifth Ivor Novello Award — recognising him as one of Britain’s most influential songwriters. In June 2025, Williams was named Official FIFA Music Ambassador, a global role marking a new partnership between music and football. In his first engagement in the position, he co-wrote and recorded the first ever official FIFA anthem, ‘Desire’, featuring Laura Pausini, which he performed at the final of the FIFA Club World Cup last year. In December 2024, his Oscar-nominated film ‘Better Man’ was released to critical acclaim, with the accompanying soundtrack following in January 2025. Other notable projects across his career include a Netflix documentary, a Las Vegas residency and his own art exhibition, ‘Radical Honesty’. A UNICEF ambassador since 2000, Williams co-founded Soccer Aid, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and has raised more than £137 million for charity worldwide since 2006.
