Fond farewell to beloved parish priest

A FOND farewell was paid to a well-loved parish priest, who served in the Limerick Diocese for the past eight years. Crowds gathered to show their appreciation for Fr Krzysztof, a native of Poland, who celebrated his final mass at St Michael’s Church on Denmark Street at the end of June. A presentation was organised for Fr Krzysztof, who will return to his native Poland, by Aidan Hurley and sacristan Ken McNamara to thank him for his service, his kindness, and commitment to the parish. Those present wished him every blessing, good health, and happiness as he begins the next chapter of his priestly ministry in Poland.
