Expert: Don't eat second-class mushrooms
In drier periods, when mushrooms are scarce, people are sometimes tempted to pick slightly old or damaged mushrooms, but this is not advisable, as such mushrooms can also cause digestive disorders, according to Diāna Meiere, a mycologist at the Latvian National Museum of Nature, on the Latvian Radio programme "How to Live Better".
