Yle poll: SDP support slips for third month, National Coalition gains ground

Finland's opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) remains the country's most popular political party, but its lead over Prime Minister Petteri Orpo's National Coalition Party has narrowed after another drop in support, according to a new Yle opinion poll. The survey, conducted by Taloustutkimus and published on Thursday, showed support for SDP at 23.0 per cent. The figure marked a decline of 0.7 percentage points from the previous poll and represented the party's third consecutive monthly setback.
