The median gross salary in Estonia was €1,753 a month in the first quarter of 2026, which is 6% higher than in the first quarter of 2025. The median gross salary is the wage level at which half of employees earn less and half earn more. Median wages stood at €1,753 in the first quarter of 2026, up 6% from the first quarter of 2025. “The growth trend for median wages is the same as for average gross monthly wages, both regionally and by economic activity,” Krista Vaikmets, a leading analyst at Statistics Estonia, the country’s official statistics agency, said in a statement.
