PM Hun Manet Urges Infrastructure Upgrades at Te Teuk Pus and Knong Psar
(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet called for the development of pedestrian pathways, rest areas, and improved water infrastructure, including a possible water-diversion dam, to enhance the visitor experience at Te Teuk Pus and the Knong Psar eco-tourism site in Kampong Speu. Speaking on Wednesday (Jun. 3) at the National Institute of Physical Education and Sport in Phnom Penh, Samdech Thipadei underlined that facilities should blend with the natural environment, with simple rest stops and accessible water sources to reduce plastic waste. He also urged visitors to dispose of rubbish responsibly to help preserve the area's natural beauty. On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei also reaffirmed the Royal Government’s commitment to infrastructure development in Knong Psar as part of its broader strategy to promote sustainable green tourism and create economic opportunities for local communities.=FRESH NEWS
